China’s Foreign Ministry has appealed to India to come forward to resolve the ongoing journalist dispute between the two countries at the earliest. So that journalists of India and China can work freely in each other’s country.
Releasing his statement, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry has said that in recent years, Chinese journalists working in India have not been treated well.
China expressed hope that India will continue to grant visas to Chinese journalists in future.
This statement of China has come at a time when China has refused to renew the visa of two Indian journalists working there. China has said that India has been putting obstacles in granting or renewing visas to Chinese journalists working there.
After this step of China, PTI journalists working there will leave China at the end of this month.
