Why Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was not arrested
According to a judgment of Supreme Court Justice Arnesh Kumar, arrest in sections with punishment of less than 7 years depends on the discretion of the investigator himself. If the accused cooperates in the investigation, arrest is not necessary.
According to the police, whenever Brij Bhushan Singh was contacted regarding the questions related to the investigation, he cooperated fully. For this reason there was no specific reason for his arrest.
