After Vande Bharat Express, now the incident of stone pelting on Rajdhani Express train has come to light. In Samastipur, Bihar, some anti-social elements threw stones at a train coming from Dibrugarh, in which some passengers were injured. In this case, the RPF team has taken four people into custody.
As the Rajdhani Express (20503) going from Dibrugarh to New Delhi reached behind Samastipur station at around 6.25 pm on Monday evening, some youth present there pelted stones at the train, in which some passengers got injured, while one passenger got head injury. He was seriously injured by the impact. The name of the passenger has been stated as Santosh Kshetri. The medical team also went inside the train and treated the passenger.
Santosh Kshetri was traveling on berth number 66 of the train. The medical team reached there and treated him. Due to this, Rajdhani Express opened late by 19 minutes. Immediate action was taken by RPF regarding the incident. In this case, RPF has detained four suspected stone pelters. They are being interrogated after undergoing medical examination at the Railway Hospital.
