US Ban Indian Companies :

America has banned dozens of companies for working for Iran. Some of these companies are also from India. The allegation against them is that all of them were working for the Iranian army. These companies used to help Iran in illegal trade and transfer to America, some of the companies which have been banned are also from India. America took this action on April 25. The US Treasury Department says that these companies have played a key role in facilitating and financing the secret sale of Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles to Ukraine. It is alleged that this work was done for Iran’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, which itself supports the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Russia’s war in Ukraine.

The name of Sahara Thunder Company has come to light behind all these works. This company works under the Iranian Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics and also oversees its business activities. The US Treasury Department says that Sahara Thunder is also involved in the sale and shipment of Iranian goods to many countries including China and Russia. Sanctions have been imposed on 3 Indian companies for supporting Sahara Thunder. These include Jane Shipping, Port India Private Limited and Sea Art Ship Management Private Limited.

 

America had made these allegations:

According to a US Treasury Department press release, Sahara Thunder has entered into a time charter contract with India’s Jane Shipping and Port India Pvt Ltd for the Cook Islands-flagged vessel, which is managed and operated by UAE’s Safe Seas Ship Management FZE. Sahara Thunder has used Cook Islands-flagged vessels to make several shipments from 2022. India’s Sea Art Ship Management Pvt Ltd and UAE company Trans Gulf Agency LLC worked together to provide ship management services in support of Sahara Thunder.
