-Siddaramaiah government on Wednesday passed the ‘Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowment Bill 2024’.
What is this bill?
-Actually, it has been decided to collect 10 percent tax from temples earning more than Rs 1 crore in Karnataka. At the same time, temples whose income is between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 1 crore will have to pay five percent tax.
