Congress Leader Kamal Nath: Congress has completely rejected the speculations about former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath breaking ties with the party and joining the Bharatiya Janata Party. The party on Monday (February 19) said that he is a senior party leader and will join the Rahul Gandhi-led ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ after it reaches the state.
Congress Party’s National General Secretary and Madhya Pradesh in-charge Jitendra Singh also claimed that all the speculations and propaganda about Kamal Nath has been done by BJP. Told the journalists that Kamal Nath is a very senior leader of ours and whatever speculations are going on, all this is being spread by BJP and a section of the media and spreading false propaganda.
‘Talked twice with former CM on Rahul Gandhi’s visit’
According to former Union Minister Singh, “I talked to Kamal Nath for two consecutive days on Sunday (February 18) and Saturday (February 17). It was discussed with him how to prepare for the journey. I am going to Bhopal on Tuesday (20th February). There will be a meeting with MPs, MLAs and leaders. Former CM Kamal Nath will also attend the meeting. The yatra will be conducted as per his suggestions and he will take a major part in it.
‘Along with Kamalnath, Nakulnath will also be a part of the yatra’
Madhya Pradesh in-charge Jitendra Singh also said that the speculations about Kamal Nath or his son Nakul Nath joining BJP are all rumours. The biggest work of BJP is that it spreads false propaganda. Singh said that Kamal Nath is taking part in the preparations for the yatra. He also said that Nakulnath will also be a part of the yatra. This yatra will enter Madhya Pradesh in the beginning of March.
