Chhattisgarh: When Husband Snatched the Phone, Woman Chose Death

A surprising case has come to light from Supela police station area of Chhattisgarh. Here a woman was so fond of using Instagram that when her husband refused, she took a terrible step. According to the information received by the police, when the husband snatched the mobile from the woman, she became very angry and in this anger she committed suicide. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and after sending the body for post-mortem, started investigation.

According to media reports, Supela police station said that a woman living in Panch Rasta Supela has committed suicide by hanging herself at her house. Her husband Bhupendra Sahu works as a tile installer. Both of them were married for 6 years and they also have a five year old daughter.

Got a call from home, wife hanged herself
In the information given to the police, husband Bhupendra told that after seeing him using the phone excessively, he snatched his wife’s mobile and kept it with himself and then went out. Bhupendra’s mother, sister-in-law and children were also at home. Bhupendra got a call from home in the evening and was told that his wife had hanged herself. Police were immediately informed, after which some policemen reached the spot and interrogated the family members.

Bhupendra says that his wife used to use the phone all day long. Leaving aside household chores, she remained busy on the phone, nor did she pay attention to her daughter. She used to create reels only on Instagram and videos on Facebook and uploaded them. Bhupendra had explained this to her many times but she was not ready to listen. There would often be fights between the two in this matter.

When his wife did not agree, one day Bhupendra snatched the phone from her and took it with himself. The same evening news came that the wife had gone to her room and hanged herself.
