At least 30 people from Gaza were killed in Israeli attacks overnight. A Hamas spokesman said at least 30 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes that night.
The Israeli military said they carried out more than 200 strikes on Gaza on Tuesday night. Human rights say that no place in Gaza is safe.
Speaking on the BBC show Newsnight, Yazzie, manager of the Refugee Council of Norway, said that civilians in Gaza were being collectively punished for the reprisals.
“People are running through the streets of Gaza, they don’t know where they are, they have no hope.” The people of Gaza have suffered numerous attacks in the sea over the past 14 years. Hozaifa says that attacks on such a large scale had never happened before.
“Time moves very slowly here, so slowly that I cannot explain in words. “There is no safe place in Gaza.”
