G20: Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple gets a special mention in the Book gifted to foreign guests

A special book was presented to the foreign guests who came to India at the G-20 Summit. The ancient Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple of Doon has also found a place in this book. The book depicts the history of Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple on page 40.

A book on India was presented by the Government of India to all the foreign guests who came to India at the G-20 Summit in Delhi. It tells about many temples of India as well as many other mysterious places. The 55-page book also features the Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple in Dehradun.

It has a picture of Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple as well as the name of the temple and its mystery written about it. It is said that the history of Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple is also associated with the Mahabharata period. This is the oldest temple in Dehradun. Water droplets continuously fall on the Shivalinga in the cave of the temple. For this reason, this temple was named Tapkeshwar.
