A case has been registered against three policemen for the rape of an 18-year-old girl in Rajasthan, this information has been given by the police officer himself.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Anand Sharma said that the woman had lodged a complaint against her three constables on Saturday evening.
He also claimed that Banjare had filed the petition in the case after threatening to take his brother hostage, the officer said.
Officials said that the staff have been recalled from their static places and sent to the police line.
He said that a case has been registered at Reni police station under Indian Penal Code section 376-D (gang rape) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
