Senior Mumbai Congress leader and former Union Minister Milind M. Deora left the party on Sunday. Deora himself tweeted the news, ending four years of speculation over his political plans, which were in a state of denial till late Saturday night. Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam’s reaction has come on this.

The Congress leader said, ‘Congress has been captured by some people who neither want to hear the truth nor want to hear Sanatan. The one who speaks the truth has to leave Congress. The way he has spoken, the wrath of Lord Ram has begun on him. I pray to God not to punish the entire Congress for the mistakes of a few people. People are leaving the Gandhi family, not the Congress.

Gandhi family is not against Lord Ram
On Nyay Yatra, he said, ‘May Lord Ram bless this journey. People want to sideline Priyanka Gandhi and keep Rahul Gandhi in the running. Congress has been captured by privileged people. There are many partners in the India alliance whose target is less on BJP and more on Gandhi family. The Gandhi family is not against Ram because Gandhiji believed in Ram and every work of his started with the name of Ramji.

Milind, son of Congress leader late Murli S Deora, a seven-time MP, said, “Today marks the end of an important chapter in my political journey. I have tendered my resignation from the primary membership of the Congress. After 55 years of my family’s association with the party, “I am ending the relationship.”

He expressed his gratitude to all the leaders, associates and workers for leaving the Congress and joining the ruling Shiv Sena for their unwavering support to the grand old party over the years. According to current indications, he is likely to join the ruling Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
