NCP’s infighting has reached the Election Commission’s doorstep with the Ajit Pawar-led group filing over 40 affidavits of MLAs and MPs in their support. Maharashtra’s Deputy CM Ajit Pawar’s faction Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) told the Election Commission that he has been elected as the national president of the party.
