Rising prices of vegetables in the country’s capital Delhi, public worried

For the past few days, once again the prices of vegetables have started touching the sky, people are sweating to buy them. Every day the prices of tomatoes used in people’s food are skyrocketing. If we talk about the retail price in the capital Delhi today, tomato has reached Rs.160 to Rs.180 per kg, while ginger has reached Rs.300 per kg, then the same chilli is being sold at Rs.120 per kg and green coriander is now being sold beyond Rs.250 per kg. At the same time, onion which enhances the taste of vegetables and salads has also started showing eyes to the people. Onion, which used to be sold at Rs 10 to 12 per kg, has now started selling at Rs 25 to 30 per kg, which has now started making people cry.

Talk about the price of onion (Onion Price Hike), there has been a huge jump in the prices of onions in the last four days, the onion which was sold for Rs 12 to 15 per kg is being sold today at Rs 30 per kg. If we look at the price in wholesale mandis, there has been a jump of 30 to 40 percent in it. In Lasalgaon, the biggest onion market, its price has gone up to Rs 1300 a quintal on Friday. In such a situation, the shopkeepers say that there may be a further increase in the price of onion in the coming days.
People say that the way the prices of all vegetables including tomatoes and onions are increasing, it seems that people will have to think about their daily food as well. Because the speed with which the prices are increasing, it seems that the inflation of vegetables will make people sweat more.
