The Investigation team of Cheetah attacked by the villagers at Kunu National Park

Remember!  One of the Namibian cheetahs recently, translocated from South Africa to India and has given birth to four cubs at the Kuno National Park. We all have celebrated the good news, since it was for the first time after 79 years that the Cheetah cubs were born in India. Unfortunately, when the three cheetah and three cubs were died due to reason unknown, the team of forest department went to Kuno National Park, Madhya Pradesh, to track and investigate the case on Friday. 

Apparently, the reports came that villagers allegedly attacked the investigating team of forest department, reached to Kunu National Park who went to track the reasons of cheetah’s death. There are also allegations of stone pelting by the villagers. Forest Department officials have told that the villagers had caught four personnel and assaulted them. No one has been seriously injured in this incident though. Officials say that a vehicle of the Forest Department has also been vandalized.

In this case, now a complaint has been lodged against 15 unknown people at Pohri police station.
