During the G-20, most of the movement of the program and VIP guests will be in the areas of New Delhi district only. In view of this, the Delhi Traffic Police has decided to keep the New Delhi area completely closed for the convenience and security of the heads of state and delegations accompanying them.

On the other hand, if someone wants to go to any other areas of Delhi via New Delhi, then he should be shown alternative routes on Google Map. Special CP S.S.Yadav told that people are being informed about the routes to be closed during G-20 through social media and the official website of Delhi Traffic Police.

Metro will operate normally
On the other hand, those who want to go to other parts of Delhi via New Delhi will see those routes closed on Google Map. He told that concrete arrangements are being made in view of the G-20 conference. During this, it will be ensured that the movement of foreign guests can be carried out in a better and safer manner, while efforts are also being made to cause minimum inconvenience to the common people. For this, where people are being informed about the closed routes, on the other hand Google Map has also been asked not to show the restricted routes during that time. He told that, during this time the metro will run normally and there is no restriction on it.
This facility for permanent residents
That’s why traveling by metro would be the best option for commuting in Delhi during that time. He told that there will be no restriction on the movement of pedestrians in the New Delhi area. While the entry of outside vehicles into the district will be restricted. However, during this time the movement of vehicles dedicated to health services will continue, while the permanent residents of the district and people staying in hotels will be allowed conditional movement with valid documents. This system will be applicable from 12 midnight on 7th September till 12 midnight on 11th September.
