Violence again in Manipur, four injured, ITLF claims one death

Violence in Manipur is not taking the name of stopping. In Churachandpur of the state, on Thursday (July 27), once again the people of Kuki and Meitei communities clashed with each other, during which four people were injured. However, the Indigenous Tribal Leaders Forum (ITLF) has claimed that a 30-year-old man also died in the firing. At the same time, it is being told that cookie miscreants targeted the security forces in Manipur and attacked them. During this, the security forces also gave a befitting reply.
According to the information, on Thursday (July 27), firing was started after miscreants entered different villages of Kangwai, Kwakta, Phugakchao Ikhai and Terkhongshangbi areas. The officer said that police and security forces have reached the spot. The villagers have been rescued. Firing is still going on, fresh firing incidents came to light when a day earlier i.e. on Wednesday, a group of miscreants ransacked houses and set them on fire, after which firing started between the security forces and the miscreants.
Manipur Police gave information about the injured. Police said that till late night on Thursday (July 27), the miscreants fired at the border areas. The four injured people have been admitted to Raj Medicity Hospital in Imphal. On the other hand, the Ministry of Home Affairs is in action on the indecency with women in Manipur. To control the situation in the state, 35 thousand additional forces have been deployed.
Apart from this, a hearing is to be held in the Supreme Court on Friday (July 28) on the case of two women being paraded naked in Manipur. A day before the hearing on the Manipur video case, the central government has filed an affidavit.
