Owaisi appeals to Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy regarding Uniform Civil Code

Uniform Civil Code:

The discussion about Uniform Civil Code is intensifying across the country. Meanwhile, now the delegation of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIAMPLB) Telangana and representatives of religious organizations met Telangana Chief Minister KCR on Monday (July 10).

During this meeting, CM KCR was urged to oppose the Uniform Civil Code. The delegation was led by Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, president of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board.

After meeting the CM, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that the UCC proposed by the PM was discussed with CM KCR. He told the CM that this is not only a Muslim issue but also a Christian issue.

Owaisi said, “UCC will destroy the beauty and culture of the country. If UCC is implemented then the pluralism of the country will end which is not a good thing. PM Modi, BJP and RSS do not like pluralism which is the beauty of our country.” Is.”

Asaduddin Owaisi said, “CM KCR has assured us that he will oppose UCC. We will appeal to CM Jagan Mohan Reddy to oppose it as well. Several other issues were also discussed with CM KCR.
